What does the key mean on spectrum?

The key symbol on the program would indicate that you don't subscribe to the channel that's providing the program.If you do also subscribe to the channel and are seeing this it may have been locked out through parental controls.

On Demand Lock

You have the option to permit or restrict access to On Demand programming with the On-Demand Lock feature in the Spectrum Guide. When this feature is enabled, access to any On Demand programming will need you to enter your PIN.

Note: If you don't know your PIN or if you haven't created one yet, you can try entering 0000 or 1234 as the default. If you forget your On-Demand PIN and require having it reset, please call at (833) 267-6094 and spectrum pay bill and Spectrum live chat support team.

On-Demand Lock options:

1.       Firstly, Press the Menu button on your remote, scroll to Settings & Support using the arrow buttons and then press OK/Select.

2.       Using the arrow buttons, scroll right down to Parental Controls and then press OK/Select.

3.       Then press the right arrow to scroll over to On-Demand Lock and then press OK/Select.

4.       Here you'll be ready to select from the following options:

·         Set On-Demand PIN

·         Turn On/Off On-Demand Lock

5.       After making changes to settings, scroll down to highlight Save and then press OK/Select to confirm your changes. 

To create or change your PIN:

To set a PIN: Enter a 4-digit number and then verify your PIN by entering the number once more.

To change a PIN: Enter your current PIN and then follow the prompts to create a new PIN. 

Highlight Save and then press OK/Choose to confirm changes.

Turn On Demand Lock On/Off

·         From the On-Demand Lock screen, highlight Turn On/Off On-Demand Lock and then press OK/Choose.

·         Enter or make your PIN, then press OK/Select.

·         Use the arrow buttons to choose On or Off and then press OK/Select.

Highlight Save and then press OK/Choose to confirm your changes.

How do I get a guide on spectrum remote?

With Live TV playing, press A on your remote control, then 3 on the number pad, followed by OK/Choose. With Live TV playing, press A on your remote control, then arrow down to highlight Guide Narration and press OK/Select. Press the Menu button, then arrow down to Settings and Support and press OK/Choose.
